I would like to invite you to join us as a sponsor for the 8th Annual Carolina Chocolate Festival, the annual celebration that puts “fun” in fundraising. The Carolina Chocolate Festival, visited by over 8,000 people, is held annually on the first weekend in February at the Crystal Coast Civic Center in Morehead City.  Our Sponsors are the soul for this event, a major fundraiser for area charities.

The 2010 Carolina Chocolate Festival will donate funds raised to Domestic Violence, Ginger’s House, 4H, White Oak Church, the Beaufort Woman’s Club, the Boys and Girls Club of Coastal Carolina, and other local charities.  We present over 30 Chocolatiers that offer delicious samples and sell their wares for attendees to the event.  In addition to the Festival, there are other chocolate themed events held during the same weekend, including a Chocolate Spa event, chocolate cooking demonstrations, and a Saturday evening dinner gala.  Last year, we served over 8,000 chocolate lovers, and in addition to increasing tourism for the weekend, the Carolina Chocolate Festival raised over $200,000 for 30 local charities in the first seven years.

The Carolina Chocolate Festival has always had support from local community businesses. But this year we are actively seeking sponsors to enhance the traffic to local businesses during the “off season” of February. We would like to ask you to consider a sponsorship for the Festival this year, and we would like to offer you opportunities to promote your business as outlined in the attached information.

NEW THIS YEAR - When you join us as a Festival Sponsor, your company name will be broadcast all over eastern North Carolina, including the new Chocolate Festival Ad Book, as well as print, radio and television advertising, on the official Carolina Chocolate Festival website, www.carolinachocolatefestival.com with a link to your business, posters, brochures and news releases. By joining us as a 2010 Sponsor, you will also receive tickets to festival events (based on your level of sponsorship).
